These are the first skates I bought for Roller Derby. The bearings were only 3's! So I quickly upgraded them to 9's and use the 3's w/ my outdoor wheels. The stock wheels are just fine for rink use, I have not heard anything good about the light up wheels (unless you want the wheels to distract from you lack of skating skills). Once broken in I have no complaints other than the icky stock bearings - but that was an easy fix. My feet run wide, and I don't have any problems w/ pinching - So I would defiantly recommend then to others with wide feet. They came with a LEATHER toe guard that was not listed in the description - I don't do leather so this was a tad irritating for me - but a fellow derby grrl gave them a good home.

Overall Bottom Line - recommended

This is a very comfortable skate! Great ankle support. These skates are more for someone who has a medium to wide foot. I am a size 8 in regular shoes but had to go down 2 sizes for this skate. Hope this helps when you buy online!
