They're OK....I don't really see any advantage over the standard Roll-Line Professional wheel. I flatted the RIF wheel on the second use. True, I probably shouldn't have T-Stopped while the wheels were still being broken in (while they are still slick it is not a good idea to t-stop.) I skated on the flat wheel for a couple of days just because....but then within a week the flatted wheel developed and even larger flat. This one was literally 3mm deep. I don't know if it is defective or not but that seems a bit extreme. The only thing I really dislike about the wheel is that it is a 55mm instead of a 57mm. But that is trivial.Overall, I will probably just be going with the standard Roll-Line Professional next time. I really don't notice a difference in feeling when the wheels are on my skate. In the box you can feel a SLIGHT weight savings over the standard but it just doesn't seem worth the hassle to me. |

Customer Rating - 2 stars - ok, a follow-up.... |

Ok, this is a follow-up...I originally had these wheels and then flatted one immediately. I ordered another set...well, I do that because I do tend to flat wheels alot.Anyway...after I initially flatted the wheel I went back to my old wheels (combo of fox and mustang.)Those wheels were beginning to wear so I switched back to the Mustang Light wheels. Anyway, I flatted yet another of the Mustang light wheels and after only 6 weeks these wheels are showing signs of wear!!! I usually don't see this much wear for nearly 6-months on my other wheels!!! And I only skate about 12 hours a week!I would not buy these wheels again. I would stick with the standard professional version. In fact, I am REALLY tempted to go back to Bones but I have read they don't quite fit right on Roll-line plates without the use of a washer/spacer.Anyway...your mileage may vary. |
