*Shipping to California is charged 8.5% sales tax from San Francisco (point of origin)
*Please note shipping time frames are accurate over 95% of the time. In the cases of residences and businesses in outlying areas (away from major metropolitan areas and airports) your delivery time may increase by a day or two. In cases where incorrect and/or incomplete address is provided indefinite delays may occur.
1. How shipping rates are calculated (Domestic and International):
The total weight of all the products plus the Country / State Code of the shipping address. That information is bounced off the UPS or USPS Shipping server.

Skates.com offers FREE UPS DOMESTIC GROUND shipping with products marked with the green UPS truck icon  . Free shipping applies to the lower 48 states only (excludes Hawaii, Alaska, Military and US protectorates such as Puerto Rico, Guam & Marshall Islands). |

NOTE: The free UPS Ground shipping credit applies one-way only. All exchanges, refunds or customer mistakes are subject to regular shipping rates. Free Shipping products are subject to a 10% restocking fee if returned for refund/exchange. |
3. Shipping Mistakes:
The customer pays for shipping in all directions UNLESS we make the mistake of shipping you a different item from what you ordered. If a shipping mistake occurs due to our negligence, we will issue a Return Label to get the incorrect item back to us and then reship the correct item to you. No additional shipping cost falls on you, the customer.
However, we will not be able to refund you the shipping cost of the package if an item is missing or if your order is incomplete. In that case we will ship the missing item/s to you immediately at no additional charge.
4. Shipping to APO addresses (Army Post Offices)
For US Army personnel located in AE, AP and AA, please select United States as the "Ship To" country and NOT the country you are stationed at. This means you will pay domestic US shipping rates instead of international shipping rates. Your items will be shipped to a post box located either in the East Coast or the West Coast of the United States and forwarded to the country you are stationed at by the United States Postal Service.
For APO addresses, shipping via USPS (United States Postal Service) is your ONLY CHOICE in shipping methods. (Fed Ex and UPS do not ship to APO addresses)
