There are a few very, very good off the shelf skates on the market. This is one of them. Very fast & responsive is the only way to describe these skates. Being an old ice speed skater accustomed to working with laces, I was very surprised to find just how well the quick lace system works. It is better & faster than laces. With practice, you can loosen or tighten them "on the run" without breaking stride or stopping.Being able to adjust the angle of the frame on the boot is also another plus. As you can tune it to your skating style or type of terrain/course.Now, all that's left is for me to train harder, get better, smoother & stronger. These skates raise the bar considerably.

K2 Mod 10.5

I am extremely pleased with the deal on my K2's, which I've had for about 4 months. The most impressive part is the price. I have looked at many places in town and did not find any quality skates for a price worth paying, especially for 5-wheels. The Mod 10.5's are the best skates I have owned out of my 5 pairs and I LOVE them. They are very comfortable on the feet, very smooth even on rough surfaces, and best of all ... fast! Not to mention, they are very nice looking. I'm glad I found this site!
