Vibralux - Charging DVD - When Adam Johnson launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise $5,000 for the Straight Jacket Tour of America in order to cover the day-to-day costs of the adventurous project, opinions were divided. Some people thought that it was perfectly reasonable for Johnson to request the help of the rollerblading community considering he has proven many times that he is a gifted film maker and made very little financial gain from his work up until this point. Also, it wasn't like he was simply asking for money, as he offered incentives in return for pledges. However, there were a lot of people that thought it was unreasonable of the filmmaker to expect fellow rollerbladers to pay for the skaters' hotel accommodation and petrol. Well, I was one of the backers and before I even watched CHARG!NG, I knew I had made the right choice. After all, how are we expected to achieve anything if we don't help each other? Any tour video that involves Alex Broskow, Chris Famer, Billy O'Neill, John Bolino and a bunch of other amazing bladers is going to turn out to be a great watch. The tour video starts off in Austin, Texas and visits 12 cities before returning to Kansas City, Missouri. As you would expect, the crew visit some of the most popular skate destinations in the US, including Philadelphia and Oakland, but there are also a few surprises, as they hit up Milwaukee, Cincinnati and Boise too. One of most enjoyable things about this DVD is that it features a lot of new, interesting spots that have not appeared in other releases. That's what happens when you visit places in the arse end of nowhere.
