I bought these for rollerderby because I fell and broke my butt no worries of that now I have a wonderful padded butt. It is bulky under skirts but to protect my butt I do not care.

Used the bumsaver on few jump attempts and the few times I landed on my butt I was very impressed with it's protection. It's light weight and good padding especially at the tailbone area.

I use the Triple 8 PROTECTIVE SHORTS in my "challenged" Inline Rollers outdoor exercises. It's very comfortable and protects the sensitive areas in a good way (I had the "opportunity" to experience it). Good value for the price. It's mostly recommended.

I use these when i go skating either on rollerblades or my longboard, they are great!, and can be easily hidden under my clothes, however the only con i find is that the material used is extremely hot, and i mean EXTREMELY HOT, youll be sweating like a pig in no time.

I bet I was the only 40 year old rollerskating for the first time at this rink. I had numerous fractures to my tailbone in the past, and I wish I had these shorts on back then. And guess what I fell on my behind twice that day!! I would have broken a hip bone had I not been wearing this. Two people already asked me after the two falls how I could possibly be standing on my feet again and I told them about the shorts and the website [...]. This is my second order I got the same exact shorts for my 5 year old who just started skating...[...]!

These pads are awesome (if a bit hot, but not horribly unbearable). Learning to parallel slide, I've been falling (a LOT). In these pads though, you don't hardly feel a thing. The padding covers all the bony parts and falling doesn't suck now. With the protection, you can throw your body at the hard moves and you won't break your backside in the process ;)

I use them all the time when ice skating. They work! I've fallen a few times and they have prevented the bruises I used to get. They fit well, are flexible and provide good protection. They only drawback is that they are hot. That's not too bad for ice skating.

I bought that for my grandson that is 5 years old .. he's taking skating lessons. It really is good to protect his tail bone and hip area. Great Item!!
