I've had the skates for about a month now and have been skating about 3 times a week on an outdoor, somewhat hilly trail. I added toe stops and the back break since I'm new to outdoor skating. I also upgraded the bearings to Bones Red. The boot was very snug at first and is breaking in nicely. The heel is slightly loose, but I think an insole will help with that. Otherwise the fit is nice and snug without being uncomfortable as they are breaking in. The skates are very stable and smooth. They roll over small sticks and cracks in the pavement, no problem. The skates are pretty heavy, but this isn't an issue for the type of skating I'm doing (recreational). I did skate indoors at a rink one time on the skates, and indoors they are very clunky (like having big SUVs on your feet), but outdoors I love them. The folks at Skates.com were very helpful with my sizing questions when I called too. I am very happy with these as an alternative to inline skates for outdoor skating.
