Nice potential, bad design August 1, 2009 Reviewer: Parrish Sims from Fresno, CA United States   These poles after a month broke at the threaded insert that holds the tips.  Found out the part that takes the most impact is aluminum.  Very bad design.  Some friends of mine have the same poles and have had the same result with no support from skike for the insert parts.  I would avoid this pole if you are a serious skiker as they do not hold up.  I recommend getting  carbon fiber cross country ski pole fitted with a carbide ferrule tip instead since they are better made and last longer.
