Well, I've had mine since the begining of summer, and have spent the whole summer carving around town. I got a few kids interested, and they got their very own ripstiks. It's fun to use, easy to learn, and hard to master. Perfect. But, the wheels wear out quickly. Well, I wore them out quickly. For sporadic use, the factory wheels should last a summer. Mine sure didn't, though.
Not as fast as a skateboard. Not as maneuverable as blades. Not as adaptable as a bike. Still a great ride. And pretty cheap too.
