The boots are nice right out of the box...add some break in time and they are butter. They come with above average bearings and very nice wheels. They seem pricier than some of the lower end skates, but when you add the components in they end up cheaper in the long run and you get a much better skate. If you want to upgrade all of the components are useable (if you want a better plate the boot is still good and vice versa) Get the jump bar if you stick with the nylon plate...you will notice the difference!!!
Actually cheaper than they appear
