I tested these wheels (the yellow 88a's) on painted concrete, painted wood and also sport court. As a 5'5, 140 pound female blocker I usually like a softer wheel (88-93). I want maximum stability but also need the wheel to break loose enough to hockey stop. The narrower set-up helps to avoid wheels getting tangled with other blockers and allows me to juke and move across the track side to side quickly and fluidly. There is enough give to allow for rapid starts and stops and I don't slide out in the turns when doing speed laps. I would compare these wheels most closely to Atom Jukes…but the lip that was put on these narrow wheels makes a world of difference. Love them!
