The ability to have a secure brake that works fast and can be counted on when you are returning to skating (after many years) takes the worry out, and lets you enjoy the skating. I love skating at 62.

This really is a perfect back stop for wheels over 80mm. you really do get great ground contact with the whole base of the stop (I'm using 90mm wheels) when applying presure. Wear in the time I've been using it is good with great stopping power and with this being the first time I've used a back stop the learning curve was very slight being able to make good brakes after only a couple of runs and at no time feeling unstable. The brake also sits far enough out of the way when turning on your heels so as not to catch when your not expecting it. Fitting is a 2 miniute job with the right tools, do remove the back wheels just to give yourself some space to work. Only 1 little gripe which is the weight but that is from the metal work (the rubber stop is light, hard and hollow) and I don't see where a loss of weight could be made it's just that my outdoor skates have toestoped Century plates so they're already pretty darn heavy, all in all a fantastic stop at a fantastic price though.

It´s so useful at high speed. But I´m big and it wears out quickly. The product it´s OK!!

I am skating outdoors, with Quadlines, and this brake is perfect. It's a real must for outdoor skating on hilly terrain. It's much better than using a toe stop.
