They just don't make them the way they used to. They don't fit properly. If you manage to tight them enough to avoid any wrist movement (as you should) you will most likely cut the circulation to your fingers, but if you loose them just a little bit you'll get wrist movement. Because of this movement i hurt my wrist when i fell last week, even when i was using this wrist guards and it wasn't a big fall at all. Now i'm doing my research for new ones.

I love this wrist guard because it allows for flexibility of your hand. I needed wrist guards that allowed me to be able to hold and push a jogging stroller....these are perfect. I have fallen on these pads and they are very durable...the knee and elbow too. My last pair wore out and it came unsewn after awhile, but it took years.

Goes on easily and very comfortable. Fits well and provides the protection that is expected from a wrist guard at this price. Only disappointment is that some of the stitching is coming loose after only a couple months of moderate use, but still a great product overall.

I got these for roller derby and I have had them for less than a month. They are already coming unsewn at the seams and wearing down very quickly. I have taken a few real spills as well as practicing falls and occasionally come out with bruises on my palms. On the plus side I haven't broken my wirst. Fine for starter gear but will need an upgrade.

Great protection! Bought for our 10 & 12 year old girls just starting roller derby. They're putting these to the test and they work GREAT! No injuries, easy to put on and take off and alot better protection and breathe better than the more plastic ones. :)
