The special feature of the Glare series wheels is that the beautiful flashing lights are aimed in such a way to be distinguishable from the front and rear as well as from the side view. The Volcanic Glare series wheel is designed for maximum dazzling LED light output for the life of wheel. All of Glare series inline skate wheels enable viewers to see it's colored lights at any angle. This design concept is a unique idea in LED hub structure mounting position. The 20-30 degree inclined angle from the wheel's vertical line optimizes the spout of the LED light throughout the open environment of the hub unit.

These light up wheels are an amazing idea! This light up wheel model/size are commonly used on inline skates that are best fit with 80mm wheels. (Fitness skates, hockey skates and even indoor skate set-ups) Many people use just one light up wheel per skate and it is a sight to see. Great for night skating.

Viewers can see the clear sparkling LED from both sides as well as the front and rear sides with excellent color separation.

I bought these as a replacement for my wife's flight attendant roller bag as her's were shot. Way cool!! Easy to replace and they look great as she rolls through the airport.

Many flight attendants replace their rollerboard wheels with inline skate wheels. Skate wheels function so much better; why aren't inline skate wheels standard on all luggage? I'm still working on getting the wheels to fit on the TravelPro Platinum 5 rollerboard--the bushings aren't the same size as the original wheels.

Purchased as a gift for a teens dipstick, she loves them, they are smooth and colorful too.[...].. Only con is they did not come with bearings.

i just ordered two of these wheels this week and tried them out for the first time at a near by roller rink last night. originally i wanted to replace my original 4th wheels on both skates with these, but due to needing a 29mm axle before i can remove the brake off my right skate, i replaced my 3rd wheels instead. despite not having them where i wanted them, they are great looking, especially when the lights are off in the rink. the kids go crazy over them! they don't spin smoothly by hand, but i didn't notice any issues once i was on the skate floor. i will probably order two more for my 2nd position wheels and leave these where they are. they also come with abec 5 bearings, but i used my own abec 9 bearings instead.

i bought two of these wheels just to add a bit of fun to my inlines. i replaced my third position wheels on both skates with one of these wheels, and i have to say they have been a lot of fun! i have only had them on my skates for a bout two weeks now and i have already had many people ask me where i got them. i mainly skate indoors at a local roller rink, and these wheels look awesome when the lights are off. the only problem i have found with them is that they don't spin easily by hand, but i didn't notice any difference while skating. the little kids go nuts over these wheels, so i would tell anyone that wants to add a little extra something to their skates to go buy a pair of these wheels for sure. i will probably be buying another pair of these soon.

Two of the wheels failed within the first week. That was a bit challenging. Skates.com replaced the parts that dissintegrated. It appears that the manufacture did not put in all the steel balls into the bearings race.
