I am trying to get back into shape and I find walking to be really boring. Roller skating is fun - all it takes is your skates and a great parking lot or street. I am having a blast. I love that my skates were advertised as a good beginner outdoor skate so I knew what I was buying. While skating I can do other exercises such as squats, etc so it is really a great way to get into and stay in shape. I'm heading for the baby boomer roller derby next!!! I've already gotten a friend interested and she has bought a pair of skates through your company through me.

Returning to skating after 40 years. Skating outside in the park on asphalt. Skates boots are comfortable and skates are well made. Skating is comfortable; I can roll over rough terrain OK--the wheels respond nicely. So far they are holding up real well and I do not anticipate any problems with the quality or use.

I have only been able to use these once because I live in Nebraska and this winter we have had a LOT! of snow. It has been years since I have been on skates and when I put these on they felt just like I remember from years ago. I got a good work out and my dogs (1 at a time) had a lot of fun. One of them keeps going into my closet and bringing my skates out to me. I think hes in a hurry for the snow to be gone and so am I. I am so glad I ordered these.

This skate is definitely not for someone who is looking to get your skate on...and enjoy it in the process. I bought these skates before i discovered what a difference wheel types, sizes, and most of all bearings can make in the performance of a skate. I thought if you paid close to $100 for a pair of skates then they'd be satisfactory enough to enjoy going out to skate maybe once a month. NOT!!! The first two times i wore these skates, it had been a while since i'd skated. Therefore, I couldnt figure out why it felt like i had to labor with each step just to get the skates to roll. I mean, you get no glide whatsoever. You have to continuously push in these skates if you want to make it around the rink. If you were to try to spin the wheel with your hand or finger, you'd see just how bad the wheels are. The wheel wont even make a complete turn. It will only spin a quarter of a turn. If i knew then what i know now i would have tested the wheels and checked the ABEC rating BEFORE buying. And i definitely would have spent a little more money, or at least invested in better wheels and bearings, which is what i'm about to do and the reason i was on the site. The boot fits comfortably, but trust me...you wont enjoy the ride; unless you're a beginner. These skates currently sit in the closet while i've gone back to renting skates at the rink; that's how bad the performance is. I'm on the hunt for a much better skate. Good luck to you in your search as well!
