I bought these for my nephew who skates 8 hours a week he loves them. they took about 2 weeks to soften and break in which is pretty normal. I recommend these to everyone. Also they are made of real leather, and very comfortable. No complaints.

Overall a great skate for the price. I knock a point off for the following: A) The product description is deceiving. The skate comes with black cusions...not clear/yellow like the image shows...ok that is no biggie really, but the skates also come with ABEC-7 bearings, not ABEC-9 as the description states. B) The sizes seem to run very large. I typically wear a size 11 running shoe, tried a 10 in this skate, and settled on a size 9 which is snug, but feels good and should break in nicely...make sure to check a size chart for Roller Derby. Overall I think this is a great value for a beginner or casual skater and is something different than the common black skate...
