I use my Triple 8 Sweatsaver helmet for roller derby. I like that it's a multi-impact helmet and the Sweatsaver liner is washable and replacable. My helmet has protected my head for a year during long derby practices.. I have fallen and lightly hit my head without injury (always get checked by a doctor if you've taken a hard hit to the head and ensure the integrity of your helmet after a fall). I have used other popular brands but I always return to the comfort and durability of my Triple 8 helmet. Do make sure to let your helmet dry thoroughly after wearing and don't replace the removable liner while it's still wet-the rivets will get a little rusty (which I remedied with fine sand paper). The Triple 8 Sweatsaver is a great protective helmet. I've always liked my Gun Matte Grey, but have noticed some really cool new colors (with contrasting liners) lately. I want them all! There's not a league that Triple 8 can't make look stylish with their large selection of colors. Love the new United Red Rubber with blue liner, the Black V2 with red liner and straps, the Baja Blue with yellow liner and straps, the Carbon Grey with green liner and straps, the rubber Black with Carolina Blue liner and straps, the rubber yellow Rasta helmet and many more! Great helmet at a great price that will suit any color preference.
