These are beautiful silver laces that I get multiple compliments on whenever I wear my skates. They are very long and they stretch when you pull them tight, which makes them incredibly long. However, I knew this when I bought them, so I simply cut them short and burned the ends. They melt really well, so there's no fraying. I even managed to shape them into points so I could better get them through the grommets. Self-created problem solved. These laces seem very sturdy and tie tightly with minimal slipping, which is nice, as constantly readjusting skate laces during practice/bouts is annoying. I've only worn them a handful of times, so durability is still up in the air. But, for now I'm pretty happy.
