This price is for each brake. Ideal for downhills and fast outdoor skating. fits on the back of the rollerskate. Complete with metal bracket.

The U-channel bolt fits around all Sure-Grip trucks. Goes on the back facing out.

Face the California Skate Brake Pad down towards the ground, slip on the washers and tighten the nuts after you adjust the angle of leverage you prefer to the ground.

The "feet" clamp around the bottom of the truck allowing you to adjust at any angle you want. Meant to go on one side (skate) for braking with your foot in front of you. As opposed to a toe-stop where you trail your foot behind.

I've had one on each skate for almost 20 years and it's saved my bacon thousands of times. You can stop very quickly without having to pirouette, and if you have two, you are ahead of the game. You can get along with one, though, but with two you will wear out the pads more slowly (have to change them 1/2 as often). You can actually make your own replacement pads out of an old tire! Worth every penny!

Brakes like these are great for sudden street stops when obstacles arise. Also great fun for roller disco!Love 'em.
