I own a rollerskating rink. These are very goo for skating long periods of time. They r so cool to look at and fast if I need them to be!!

Got these to replace roller blades that I could never get use to... Very comfortable... Color is awesome... have gotten many compliments... :-) Luv my new skates...

I ordered these as a beginning roller derby athlete but previously D1 competitive athlete. They are good for beginner roller derby but they cannot take a lot of wear that happens in competitive derby. At the end of my first season they will most likely need to be replaced part way through season 2. The padding wears down when I am probably on them 6 hours a week. The boot is not leather and will shred a little bit every time they hit the floor. So the toes on mine are destroyed. recommend toe guards or duct tape the ends. Good for beginners but not super durable for competition. great for recreational skating!

I'm thirteen years old and received these skates for Christmas. I go skating at my local rink three or more times a week; each session being anywhere from four to eight hours long. I was very pleased to say that they are very comfortable and cushiony. I think all of the padding had a downside as well; making them appear bulky, which to me, is rather obvious on these skates. I am using the same bearings and wheels as of now, and they are working wonderfully for me. I removed the toe stops shortly after to replace them with jam plugs, since I do mainly jam skating. They are a bit heavy it seems, although it's a bit hard to compare them with other skates I've worn. The toe stops were durable and the wheels are very sensitive/responsive to every movement you make, which can be a good or a bad thing. Easy to clean, comfortable, fast. The leather on the toes has worn down a bit from hitting the floor now and then, but other than that, they're holding up rather well. I recommend them for beginner speed skaters, and even beginner jam skaters. They were great first skates for me, and a pleasure to learn in. Very pleased over all.

I bought a pair of artistic boots to get back into skating outdoors, strengthen my ankles, and then wanted something a little quicker with indoor wheels to use on the rink; I wanted to do laps and go to the adult night for skate-dance, so quicker, harder wheels were needed. Also I eventually want to see if I can get strong enough to join a local derby Rec league. For the price these are a fantastic starter skate; they're comfortable, come with grippy but quick rink wheels, and accept a replacement insole. I'm not assuming they're up to the battery of derby, but a few layers of hockey tape over a toe-guard should be enough for a rec league and fitness practice. If derby dreams don't work out these are still fantastic skates for the rink; a little flash looking so I feel good in them but not obnoxious so I'm self conscious. They're a super deal. I have a narrow 8.5 (almost 9) foot and got the Men's size 7, they're snug in the length and lace nicely (I tend to over tighten, but when I back off they feel great.)
