as a beginner to derby, and a 6-foot, 180lb guy, I need equipment that can protect and yet allow mobility. I find that in the Killer Knee Pads. The price was awesome, I'd like to support my local skate shop but I couldn't pass up this deal. High quality at an awesome price!

I use these for roller derby, my knees don't hurt from the falls anymore. When I practice my falls, I don't feel the impact, its as if I am landing on a mat. They are bulky for cross overs but that is something I will adjust to with practice.
