K2 Radical Pro Skates Mens 2012 - The K2 Radical Pro Inline Skates are part of the K2 training line and provide you with a light, fast and comfortable training skate. Made with a Radical Frame which has a Hi-Lo wheel setup of 100/110mm that puts you in the perfect skating position. The Radical frame is heat-treated aluminum that is the fastest and most stable frame in the K2 line. This frame can also be adjusted on the base of the boot fro a custom feel.

The Radical Pro has the Boa closure system that provides you with a fast, simple and custom comfort fit that gets you in and out of the skates quickly. Combine the 100/110mm wheels with the ILQ 9 Bearings you will skate faster and smoother than ever before which will keep you out on the streets for longer. These skates allow you to get the workout that you desire.

This skate has absolutely NO ANKLE SUPPORT! Also it doesn't have laces or straps or buckles but this metal wire laces throughout the skate and connected to a round knob, when you push in it locks and then you twist and it tightens! But it tightens completely uniformly throughout the skate, so if you are the kind of person that tightens your skate the same tightness at the foot part as at the ankle part as at the leg above ankle part, then maybe you'll be fine, but I know usually people tighten it the most at ankle and not as much elsewhere, especially if your foot is like mine, triple E width! Thus since basically no ankle support, you need to tighten your ankle really right to keep your foot from twisting inward or outward while skating, (almost broke my ankle multiple times in the 30 minute test try, and I've been on skates for 21years, from playing division 1 in roller hockey, to triple A Bantam and Midget Ice Hockey, to bring a pretty good aggressive blader, so if I almost broke my ankles, imagine if you don't have my skill!) so to tighten your ankle really tight, it completely kills your foot and leg above ankle because it tightens it same as ankle! Therefore, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! WON'T EVEN BE ABLE TO RETURN THEM HERE IF YOU USE THEM EVEN FOR A MINUTE! SO YOU'LL BE SOS! :-(

I demo'd a pair and while I am not as aggressive of a speed skater I was in my youth, when I pushed the performance on a hill, my ankle would rotate in the boot. I took 2 falls because it didn't mold my foot to the blade. It's fast,but not stable. Don't buy a pair until you test them out with some hard strokes.
