Richard Humphrey 805 Chicago Super Deluxe - Standard level boot with the Richard Humphrey flavor. Pick up a pair of these bad boys that have been upgraded with the Richard Humphrey edition Rollerbones and break out your moves on the rink with ease. They features double adjustable aluminum trucks. Richard Humphrey's wheel (57mm, 97A) provides you with a larger size for extra glide from a forgiving grippy wheel constructed by the people over at Powell. You can choose from either the Rhythm Rollerbone Wheel or the Golden Rollerbone Wheel.

I've been quad skating for over 50 (yes, 50!) years! My first job was for a local Seattle area roller rink. My old skates finally got too rickety to use safely so I bought these new ones. I didn't know what I was missing! Great quality but,,, I'd prefer leather boots. Otherwise, with a few minor adjustments, these skates feel like old friends.

I have been skating for over 40 years and for the money the Chicago skates are hard to beat. The Chicago aluminum plates are the best buy out there. It is advised to change out the original Chicago wheels and bearings (as they are not very good). The upgraded wheels and bearings provided with this deluxe Chicago package are a great choice (very smooth). The only negative I can think of is the stiff boot (vinyl with leather inner lining) can leave some blisters. I expected that and I think wear in time will help.

this skate is perfect if you're a man that wants to begin to artistic skating. it has all you need to learn skating. cons: the boot is too smooth, I bought a #12 for a very tall and heavy person and this boot offers none protection to his ankles. none compatibility with standard artistic roller skating bearings.

[...] Website is comprehensive and helpful despite some broken links & and a few outdated sections. Skates, although satisfactory, are not the quality I remembered (I am 66); the boots are clearly vinyl and have that exact look and feel; they are uncomfortable and I wonder if I will ever get them broken in. Later ordered more skates for my two grandsons; they arrived with very dry bearings which tightened and squealed on first use. Have considered Quadlines for all of us[...]
