Its a rubber based formula with fillers. The one with the most rubber is the black one. It also lasts the longest. The colored ones have filler to make them retain the color. Hope that helps..

I bought these black stoppers to go on my black Quad skates along with the black/white wheels. These stoppers are about 1/8 to 1/4 inches longer than the ones that came with my skates. As they are longer, they are closer to the floor.
