I've used these bearings for years and have never had a problem with them . I've been skateing for fourtyfive years . My three children ,(ages 16,18,26),have all skated from early childhood until now at my expense and I've always used these bearings for everybody . I don't recall any being worn to the point that they couldn't be cleaned , reoiled and used again. Never had any to break . Oh! the wife skates to .

had numerous sets of china bones.... most of them ended up worn VERY fast gone through 2 sets before I saved up for these bearings using donor bearings. Buy these, you won't be disapointed

The bearings seems very good. Please see my comments on the skate setup - which was suboptimal... I was surprised the original (new) bearings were not provided when I picked these up installed in my new skates - I would likely have passed them on to a friend.

Excellent bearings for the price. Very fast. In derby, refs needs to keep up with the pack/jammer and these allow me to do just that with little effort. Great bearing for the price. You won't be disappointed with these bearings.

These Bearings are so awesome. The roll is SO smooth! I use these in my Atom Dubz 2.0... Best wheel/bearing combo I have skated on.

I noticed the smoother roll as soon as I stepped out onto the skating floor with Bones Swiss Bearings. I felt like pace line was effortless and when we skated "all-out" I picked up speed that I had forgotten about! The Bones Swiss are perfect for my lengthy roller derby practices. I felt like I was gliding on air and it took no effort to keep my wheels rolling with these bearings. I am a Bones Bearings girl-they're all good. These are great! Absolutely worth every penny. As long as you care for your bearings, they will roll for a very long time. Cleaning is necessary when they get dirty (that often depends on the surface you're skating on). I use 91% Isopropyl alcohol (be sure it's 91%. [@] carries it. Or ask a pharmacist). Remove the rubber seal, put the bearings in a clean, dry container meant for bearing cleaning (Bones makes one) or a clear, dry plastic bottle (not a used water bottle), gently swish your bearings in the alcohol. I do an initial rinse, pour out the dirty alcohol, add more, swish. If the alcohol is still dirty, dump it out and give your bearings another rinse. When you're confident your bearings are clean (use a clean toothbrush to clean inside the bearing and around the rubber seal you've removed). Use the cleanest air possible to dry your bearings (canned air, compressed air or a hairdryer dedicated solely for your bearings). Be sure your bearings are completely dry before you add Speed Cream (made by Bones). Only add 2 small drops Speed Cream per bearing (Only add 1 drop to ceramic bearings). It's okay to use sparingly, too much can actually attract dirt. Spin your bearings in both directions, ensuring complete coverage with Speed Cream. Replace rubber shields and spin bearings a few more turns. Place 2 bearings into each wheel, attach to axle, bolt wheels on and roll! Super easy to clean (just be positive they're dry before adding Speed Cream-can't stress that enough, or you'll wind up with rusty bearings that will lock up on you). Easy to maintain and you'll get years worth of smooth skating if well taken care of.
