The Synergizer Yellow product is NOT designed to sit on a flat surface. These skates have more room, and therefore, you can use a footbed that takes up a little bit more volume. The benefits that both of the footbeds offer would be: 1) more comfort to the feet and lower extremities, 2) better heel cushioning and support 3) improved circulation throughout the feet4) improved fit.Both footbeds are covered with a polyester fabric known as ETC. This special fabric is a technical fabric that is designed to reduce friction inside the shoe or boot, therefore, reducing the chance of blistering around the foot. The footbeds can be transferred from skate to skate, so they will generally last longer than the skate itself.They can be cleaned with a mild soap and an old toothbrush or hand brush.
