Theese skates are just and overall waste of money. The kingpin snapped after only two months of skating wich i believe is attributed to the fact that is is the same size and the axle bolts. The skate plates came loose making the unstable while skating and causing the wheels to bite into the sole of the boots. Overall you get what you pay for, junk.

The first comment described the problems I had exactly. I wish I would have read it before purchasing these skates. The kingpin sheared off during 20 fast laps in a pack of 30. Also, there is a lot of wobble because of cheap quality plate mounting bolts. I have wear marks in the bottoms of my boots from my wheels. I would say they are ok for extreme beginners or someone who hardly ever skates but not anyone involved with harder skating or roller derby. Definitely not outdoor trails and jumps. Just glad I was inside when the front kingpin broke.

I bought these for indoor roller derby and after four months they are torn and the plate is loose. Very disappointed.
