I've ridden and enjoyed most types of wheelboard, and I got the Original because it looked fun. But it has the following fatal problems;
- It doesn't turn properly. At high speed, the axle tilts and it falls over. At low speed, the wheels bite and lock up. - It goes into wobbles at very low speeds. - The wheels don't return to a neutral position on their own. - The springs squeak all the time. - The rubber grip is too small and too soft. It's also the wrong shape. - It's too heavy for use as a casual commuting vehicle.
I've tried the springs on a range of settings and it makes no difference to any of the problems above.
This is a perfect example of an over-engineered product. 2 wheels are simply better than 3.
