The most competitive wheel available. Features Hollow Core Technology, High rebound, and incredible performance. Best used on all asphalt or track surfaces.
Rated by Footprint and not just Durometer(hardness).
Footprint is more important than wheel hardness alone. Footprint is the compression size. In other words the amount of wheel making contact to the surface. This changes with someone's weight, speed, temperature and becomes even more important when you are on the side of the wheel in the turns or doing the double push.
The smaller the footprint, the harder the wheel.

Matter Urethanes
Through a unique and proprietary manufacturing process and a keenly developed sense of urethane formulation, Neal Piper has developed a methodology for developing varying formulations based on necessary applications. For instance, the Juice formula has outstanding rebound characteristics combined with good grip and abrasion characteristics necessary for most road applications.

JUICE:
The Juice was specifically designed with roll in mind and has proven to be the best road formula in the world. Juice is poured in 4 different hardnesses or footprints, providing the skater a diverse range depending on skating style and ability and road condition.
Footprint vs. Hardness
The footprint system was developed as Neal Piper understood that despite urethane durometers, there are other factors that affect the feel of the wheel to the skater.
The critical element affecting the feel is the footprint, the larger the footprint, the softer the wheel.
Therefore, we believe its more important to measure the footprint of the wheel relative to the other wheels in a sequence. Matter uses an F - scale rating system;

F0 being the hardest, F1 the next hardest, and so on. This footprint scale is relavent only to each individual family or sequence, meaning that an F1 Juice will not have the same traditional hardness rating as an F1 XG wheel.
