carrera's are the first pair of quads i ever owned and i have put a beating on them over the last 6 years. the only problem i really had was busting out the mounts. i still ride with the original bearings and wheels and the only reason im gonna buy new ones is because i have completely worn out the boot. keep in mind that i work at a skating rink and have put in atleast 30 hours a week skate time on avg. i would recomend these skates to anyone who is very agressive in their tricks as long as your not trying to skate real quick.

.....But just not the traditional Riedell quality. They run quite narrow and the leather is not very forgiving like other R's. The wheels and bearings are the quality you would expect on much cheaper skates and will need immediate upgrading. Starting at 120, then adding decent wheels and bearings brings you to about 170. The 122's are 179 and come stock with good components, so although at first sight you are spending more...in the long run you are getting a MUCH better skate for about the same price.
